PRINCIPAL

Skye Watson is the principal of Freshwater Legal, which she began in 2005 after gaining experience in a city sole practitioner firm and then in a mid tier city law firm. Skye branched out on her own once wanting to start a family whilst maintaining a professional career, which she has succeeded to achieve over the last 18 or so years running the practice.

Skye has established herself over this time as one of main lawyers in the local Northern Beaches area. She has also expanded her clientele to regularly assist clients intestate and overseas. She enjoys delivering quality with a personal service. She prides herself on serving clients throughout all facets of their life, whether it be buying and selling property, estate planning, or generally just seeking advice on issues which arise throughout one’s life. She particularly enjoys assisting a number of generations within the same family and ensuring that all facets of a family’s dynamics and needs are met over time. She is supported by Robyne who has worked with her for approximately 13 years and Arina who, whilst more newly appointed has almost completed her honours in law. She prides herself on a close knit team who work together with efficiency, care and great communication.

Skye has a wonderful partner and five children, she enjoys the outdoors and staying fit, as well as spending time with her family and travelling to the country when she can.

SENIOR PARALEGAL/PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Robyne Simpson has been working for Freshwater Legal for approximately 13 years as a Paralegal and Personal Assistant. She assists Skye with conveyancing, Wills and Probate and Estate planning generally as well as other civil and commercial matters.

Robyne has a very solid conveyancing knowledge and delivers to clients with confidence and a caring attitute. She has a notoriously friendly and helpful rapport with clients, many of whom have become repeat clients over the years, and takes great pride in ensuring all matters are completed even under often stressful circumstances. She has extensive experience working in the legal sector and her professionalism and knowledge allows her to produce high quality work whilst ensuring each of the individual client needs are met. Throughout her time at Freshwater Legal, Robyne has interacted with and acted for generations of family members, solidifying the professional relationship over an extended period of time. Robyne enjoys continuing to serve clients in various matters with unparalleled proficiency and dedication, making Robyne not only a valuable member of the Freshwater Legal team, but also an integral part of the foundation upon which Freshwater Legal was built.

Robyne spends her time outside of work with her lovely two sons and friends, especially heading to NRL football games to support her beloved Manly Sea Eagles, where she is a member of the Manly Warringah Football Club.
